VGA stands for Video Graphics Array, it is a display system for the PC. VGA uses analog signals and transmit R (Red),G (Green),B (blue) signals separately. All CRTs and most LCD monitors support for VGA signals. VGA also refer to the 15-pin VGA socket, or the 640x480 resolution and 16 colors display mode, which is used for booting up or trouble shooting the PC.
